Districts Doing Scouting Safely Camporee
The Rockland Activities Committee (RAC) has organized a “Districts Doing Scouting Safely” (HVC DDSS) camporee the weekend of October 24th. This event is open to All HVC Scouts BSA
This camporee gives each troop the option to camp on their own at any location. Camp Nooteeming and Camp Bullowa is open for tent camping! If you are camping at one of the camps you must socially distance from the other troops, no combined activities will be allowed. After you register to camp at either Nooteeming or Bullowa, you will be emailed a COVID-19 rules sheet.
After you register for the camporee, please email Donna Helt: donna.helt@scouting.org to request your campsite. It will be a first come first serve, please let her know your first and second choice. Cost for campsite $30 per site. You may camp at both Nooteeming & Bullowa!
Note: If you don’t want to camp the entire weekend your troop can get together and do the events on the 24th.
Each troop will be given a list of activities to complete for this event plus each troop will come up with their own unique activity they must complete.
