After Registration:

Most correspondence will be handled through email, so be sure to list an email address that you check on a regular basis. We will be looking for people to assist us on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday of the event weekend. We will also need some help doing heavy lifting the weekend before. Dates and Times for the weekend of October 20th are still TBD.

On the Day of the event:

We encourage all staff members to wear a Halloween costume based on this year’s theme of Down on the Farm!

The day of the event is special and for the most part we will need a full day commitment of 7am-5pm. Except for medical emergencies, cars will not be permitted to enter, drive around, or leave camp during the hours of the event 9:00am-4pm. If you can only help for part of the day, you will need to park with the participants at the Dutchess BOCES lot, and take a shuttle bus into camp.

We expect all staff members to be Trustworthy and Loyal by manning their stations until properly relieved, or the day’s schedule has come to an end.

We expect all staff members to be Helpful and Friendly to all of our Cub Scout guests and their families who may not be familiar with HHF or Camp Nooteeming..

We expect all staff members to be Courteous and Kind by being on time and following the schedule that they receive

We expect all staff members to be Obedient and Cheerful, even if they are assigned to a post that they did not want to work.

We expect all staff members to be Thrifty and Brave by being creative with their costume and wearing it throughout the event, but remembering that we are in a camp setting.

We expect all staff members to be Clean and Reverent in their speech, and choice in costume - this is a Cub Scout function, not a costume party for mature people.

We look forward to seeing you all up at NOOTEEMING!
