Day Camp Programs at Camp Bullowa

Scouting means "doing." Everything in Scouting is designed to have the boys and girls doing things. Activities are used to achieve the aims of Scouting - citizenship training, character development, and personal fitness. Everyday at Day Camp, boys and girls are engaged in activities that will work towards these aims.

We offer Day Camp for boys and girls completing grades K through 4. Boys and girls completing Kindergarten may attend but must have an adult partner. Non-registered Scouts can attend, but must pay an additional $25 to be registered and covered for liability. Campers participate in age appropriate outdoor adventures under the guidance of caring, friendly, and qualified staff.

The Day Camp program includes BB gun, archery shooting, STEAM, nature and Scout skills such as fire-building and outdoor cooking. Sports, games, climbing, swimming and boating (select locations only) are very popular day camp activities. Plus we will have some just plain old fun. Activities are age-appropriate and gender specific.  Unplug your child and let he/she enjoy the outdoors and everything nature offers.

At the end of the day, all campers will have these things in common, they leave camp tired, dirty, hungry and counting down for tomorrow.

Camp Bullowa offers busing from several locations in Rockland, Orange, Westchester & Putnan for an additional fee.
