The Delaware River District serves 1,520 youth through 45 units in the counties of Orange and Sullivan (New York) and Pike (Pennsylvania). Our district is one of the four districts that are part of the Hudson Valley Council, Boy Scouts of America.

Mission: The mission of the Delaware River District is to prepare young people within our area of responsibility to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Vision: The Delaware River District committees, staff, leaders and parents will prepare every eligible youth in America to become a responsible, participating citizen and leader who is guided by the Scout Oath and Law.
